A: Thea Anonby Q: Describe the kind of people they were A: I don’t know what kind of people they were. A: I wouldn’t have the slightest idea if I have any of these characteristics. I have the impression they were God-fearing people. Q: What do you know about their values, philosophies and religious beliefs? ReplyDeleteReminds me of the 76 year old Alzheimers patient for whom I was providing companion care (live-in) until he passed away (February 28, 2011).
One day as he was deteriorating, he looks up at me, and with a halting, raspy, voice asks, "What happened to me?"
It's not very easy to answer that question!
But a rich experience to walk with another person as they die . . . .
